Rawalpindi Developing Authority

Rawalpindi Developing Authority is well known as RDA. Basically, it is the primary body known for the maintenance, development, and growth of the Rawalpindi. The Foundation of it was done in May 1989 for the replacement of the Rawalpindi improvement under the Act of Punjab Development of cities in 1976. Their mission is more productivity, improvements, and development in the metropolis. Transformation of the city with the efforts of the government public and the private sectors.

 There are the four directories of Rawalpindi Developing Authority. This includes the directorate of financing, administration, Land estate management, metropolitan, traffic engineering.

 OBJECTIVES:

● Establishing a coherent approach to environmental and community development.

● Optimal use of planning and development resources and ensuring effective and economical land use.

● Establishing a comprehensive system to improve the quality of life of the residents of Rawalpindi.

● For residential, commercial, and industrial development in the city Development and implementation of effective guidelines.

 Responsibilities and the functions of RDA 

● Management and development of the real estate projects.

● Preserve and improve the city environment.

● Maintaining the drainage system, water supply, and solid waste management. 

● RDA can buy, sell, barter, lease, or dispose of moving goods or moving goods.

● Government agencies can carry out and spend all development work. 

● Machines, as needed Equipment and materials, can be procured.

● Rawalpindi Development can conclude a contract and the provisional development contract allows.

 Achievements of RDA
